No use on the front of a JCW on track days. Front left delaminated after 128 miles. Very poor in the damp, no grip in the wet.

The most useable semi slick on the market !

The Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 Connect is a fantastic tyre. It’s performance is very impressive considering how drive able the tyre is day to day. On track the tyre holds up very well, supplying ample grip and seems to be lasting considerably longer than other semi slicks I have experienced. The thing that surprised me the most was it’s performance in the wet, I would say it has comparable wet performance to a Michelin Pilot Super Sport, if not better, especially once the tyre has built up a bit of heat ! Overall, it’s the perfect tyre if you want a capable semi slick and don’t want to worry about changing your tyres every time it rains.

Guter Reifen aber leider nur in Einheitsmischung erhältlich.

Der Reifen ist meiner Ansicht nach schlechter als der Cup2 in N0 Mischung. Ich verstehe nicht, warum Michelin nicht auch zwei Mischungen anbietet. Der Reifen hat nur ein kleines Fenster indem er wirklich gut funktioniert. Pluspunkt: lange Haltbarkeit

Fabuleux, incroyable

Je possède une DS3 Performance avec une monte d’origine en Super Sport, des pneus que je trouvais excellent, bon grip, tenue de route. J’ai usé l’avant à 42000 à la corde, du coup j’ai monté ceux de l’arrière à l’avant avec une usure à 70%. Michelin me propose soit le Sport 4 inférieur ou pas au SS ou le Sport Cup 2 Connect. Je pars sur ces derniers et ce que je peux dire c’est que ces pneus ont une adhérence, une rigidité incroyable, j’en reviens pas par rapport aux SS, le top, on roule sur des rails, on a l’impression que l’arrière ne décrochera plus. Pour le moins, l’usure, je savais que la durée de vie des pneus serait diminuées mais pas à ce point, j’en suis à 40% si c’est pas 50% au bout de 6000kms ! Est-ce que je les remettrai ? Le problème c:est que lorsqu’on y a goûté, c’est mort, je les remonterai c’est sûr à l’arrière mais à l’avant ça me fait réfléchir vu que l’usure y est plus rapide et essayer c’est adopté, difficile de revenir en arrière et monter du Sport 4 dans mon cas. On peut améliorer la monte mais revenir en arrière avec une monte classique c’est difficile. Merci à Michelin de proposer de tels pneus plaisir en espérant qu’ils resteront longtemps au catalogue. J’oubliais, le design est magnifique, dans sa structure et ses flancs, 💋

Immer meine erste Wahl

Ich bin rundum zufrieden 😀. Nach 180 sportlichen runden auf dem Bilsterberg ist immer noch ausreichend Profil vorhanden lediglich die vorderen machen langsam etwas schlapp allerdings liegt das am Fahrwerks Setup und nicht am Reifen.ich bin guter Dinge das die vorderen nochmals 40-60 Runden hergeben und hinten 80 .

I have decided to purchase these tyres for my Golf Mk VII GTI TCR after not beeing fully satisfied with driving behaviour of the vehicle during spirited driving with factory fitted tyres from other manufacturer. As I had good experience with MIchelinCup 2 tyres mounted on my Porsche 991.2 GT3 I decided to purchase set of Pilot sport Cup 2 Connect tyres. I was ready to sacrifice some riding comfort and performance on wet surface. After fitting the tyres I was positively surprised. The behaviour of the car improoved in all areas on dry surface. Traction, lateral grip, braking performance and steering feedback improoved radically. Theese tyres give me so much confidence during spirited driving. And I was surprised that there is no trade off in driving comfort or noise. For me game changer and leading product in its class. Best tyre I have ever had fitted on my vehicles.

Έψαχνα τον καλύτερο αντικαταστάτη για τα AD08R στο Evo X και φαίνεται τα βρήκα. Τα Cup 2 Connect προσφέρουν καλύτερη πληροφόριση στο τιμόνι λόγω των ενισχυμένων ώμων και είναι πιο άνετα και ήσυχα. Στη βροχή έχουν εξαιρετικό κράτημα όμως χρειάζεται προσοχή στα λιμνάζοντα νερά. Πολύ χρήσιμο το Michelin Track Connect όπου μπορείς να παρακολουθείς σε πραγματικό χρόνο τις θερμοκρασίες και πιέσεις των ελαστικών σου, κάτι πολύ σημαντικό τόσο στη γρήγορη οδήγηση όσο και στη πίστα. Σίγουρα θα τα βάλω πάλι! Τα προτείνω ανεπιφύλακτα!
